Did I forget to mention your favorite?
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

I think the confusion is because you're mentioning real music in a Eurovision thread
"Af alle latterlige Ting forekommer det mig at være det allerlatterligste at have travlt" - Kierkegaard

"JamenajmenømahrmDÆ!DÆ! Æhvnårvaæhvadlelæh! Hvor er det crazy, det her, mand!" - Uffe Elbæk

Several of those songs are considered classics. Let me suggest that it's your taste in music that is horrible.
Women want me. Men want to be with me.

Sarcasm, Olaf. (Did I remember your name right?)

Anyone else getting a "James Bond" vibe from Poland. :hmm:

Sigh.

Yes.

Watched a cuppa thirty minutes this PM.  It's being shown on logo network.

I must have been watching first round voting?  Each country gets 12 points and there's like 40 countries to choose from.

Not crazy about the fact that *everyone* in Europe is now speaking with an American accent.  Chicks sound much less sexy and the guys all sound like that greasy host on Slumdog Millionaire.

The kitsch definitely goes to 11.

As far your "partial" reviews go, that is not far from the mark, though you should have stayed for the results race, it's the best part. ;) X country twelve/douze points.  :D
Not shocked by Australia in the EUROVISION? :P
First round was in the middle of the week, semi-finals as they are called.

Can't say I saw this winner coming albeit I had heard the song and good things about it. Music wise, it's a far cry from my favourite prevous winner (2006) but I am sure haters are going to hate it too, regardless of the style, at least in this country due to some sport event last year.
Of course, something else than generic Europop, not sung in English as a bonus, is always welcome.

PS: countries also get 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3,2, 1. It's just no longer stated, just shown before announcing les douze points.

You did it, didn't you? Coincidence? I think not!
