My wife and I walked a 5 Km on the fourth; the route went on a causeway over the Indian River (actually an estuary).  Even at 7 in the morning it was already 86 degrees F (30 C.)  I don't think some of the runners took the heat into account when training; we passed one guy who was throwing up over the bridge.
