State of the Union Addresses have always been performative bs and I rarely bothered watching them. His, I refuse to even try. I figure if anything *truly* important happened, I could catch it via a news article or Bluesky post or something.

The press really needs to stop referring to Elena Kagan as a "liberal" justice.  She isn't.

Actually, Jackson really isn't either but that's more of a hot take. In her case, it is mistaking temperament for ideology.
