Quote$1 Trump coin draft is 'real,' US Treasurer says

A portrait of President Donald Trump may be featured on a commemorative $1 coin issued by the United States Mint in honor of America's 250th birthday in 2026, according to first drafts of the images confirmed by the US Treasury.

"No fake news here," US Treasurer Brandon Beach post on X in response to images of the coin on X. "These first drafts honoring America's 250th Birthday and @POTUS are real. Looking forward to sharing more soon, once the obstructionist shutdown of the United States government is over."

I mean of course he wants to go wild for the 250th.

I don't know if you've been unable or unwilling to see a professional or take medication or if your current methods aren't working as well anymore, but you're well past the point of spiraling and into the "very concerning" level.
This is one of the more disgusting attacks I've read here in a while, and that's quite an achievement on a forum where crazy canuck is a prolific poster.

Whatever. There's a reason you're one of three regular posters here I have on ignore. I just wish I could up it to a legitimate block. You haven't had a good point, a valid argument, or a decent thing to say in years at this point. I see you didn't pick today to change that.

Let's face it, we think Raz is over-Razzing the Gaza thing because of his mental health issues because we know he has mental health issues.

If Raz was some random new poster, Sophie wouldn't suggesting he changes his medication. So it IS a personal attack.

Directed comment and pleading? Yes. Attack? Not as such. I fail to see how it is much of an attack let alone a "disgusting attack".

How would you respond to a similar comment directed at you?

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I didn't see it as attack as much as concern, one which I am sharing.

Anyways, I'll take a break from the political threads for a while. Politics is depressing enough as it is.

Sure and you are very far from being the only person in the world obsessing over it, but I do agree with the others: I miss Old Raz who could write about something else other than his white&black view of the Gaza war. It would especially be welcome if you didn't turn every single thread into a discussion of that. I read the Guardian I see enough of that there.

I have job now.  I even have something of a social life of sorts  I even made this salad where I misspelled both "Garden" and "Salad"

Quote from: Razgovory on October 03, 2025, 05:45:03 PMWhy does Trump and racism not become tedious?

Raz, you keep bringing that up as a defense that youre being singled out, but is there a poster who tries to waylay every thread into a discussion about how bad Trump is? Once again it's not the topic, it's  insisting on dragging every  conversation, whether it's anyway related or not, into the same topic that's the issue.

You say people are annoyed because the topic is uncomfortable, but the Israel discussion thread is over 400 pages long, so clearly discussing it isn't an issue. Until, that is, every thread becomes a discussion on it.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

We have threads that constantly digress on Trump, it's not really any different.
