QuoteSubject: Please Impeach Donald Trump

Please don't be mislead by my Iowa City address.  I'm not a member of the loony left, but rather a right-of-center fiscal conservative and national security hawk who has voted for you while living in Iowa. Donald Trump is a travesty of a president who at best will bring disgrace to our country and at worst bring it to ruin. History would applaud you and your colleagues action. Thank you for your attention.

Just sent this email to US Senator for Iowa Chuck Grassley's office.

Fuck I forgot an apostrophe. :bleeding:

Also used the wrong tense of "mislead."  You wanted "misled." :P

Is Iowa City such a hotbed for radical leftism that you feel the need to point out your credentials?  :P

if you read the overall message, we're unstoppable once unified. carnage in chicago, therefore, may not happen unless the american people are unified. the carnage referred to in the speech was "American carnage," not "chicago carnage." the carnage of america as a whole has ended with trump's inauguration, but the specific instances of carnage will naturally remain, until unity.

  Trump stopped the American carnage:  "the carnage stops, right here, right now."  Chicago is part of America.  It therefore cannot have experienced any carnage post-trump-statement, unless trump's statement was just another in his string of lies.  I know you desperately want your boy to be right when he is clearly wrong, but your imitation of him is getting too accurate for comfort.

You cannot argue that "the carnage of america as a whole has ended" and then claim that that is consistent with the idea that "specific instances of carnage will naturally remain."  That's called a lie.  Frankly, you should leave those to your hero, because apparently some people don't realize he is lying, while everyone realizes you are.

That's not very fair.  Is there a minimum required donation for principal's for a day?

It's not the first time, and he doesn't care.

I was pointing out that there was a apostrophe he was missing in his email to Grassley.  He didn't forget it, he just used it in the wrong place.

disagree with your assertion "American carnage" covers every location in america and isn't a general statement about the state of america as a whole. it could mean that, but it also could mean other interpretations. the speech referred to the many ways america as a whole has gone off track, so given the context it's more likely he meant the latter, not the former.

Linking stopping pipeline construction to the overall environmental movement is another example of how the left takes reasonable positions to idiotic extremes, and leaves a gaping window for the populist right to get people like Donald Fucking Trump elected.

I do not really see the connection. We have had extremist leftist nutcases in this country for at least a hundred years. But now the future of our country depends on these people moderating themselves? Why? They are never going to.

more that journalists shouldn't link oil pipelines with legitimate things that affect the environment. the crazies can, but if the journalists are crazy then those in charge should censor them.

agree the trump school trip seems overblown

It was egotistical and tacky. Just like his entire public career. I don't see how it is anything except typical Trump, neither overblown nor underblown.

I see that Trump is already laying down the groundwork for comprehensive voter suppression at federal level.  :hmm:

The days of gate keepers for the media are long passed.
