Good to see the mormons keeping their end up.

I was curious what was up with South Dakota.

Is it just the Indians?

Quote from: Tamas on Today at 09:10:07 AMI am tempted to try and limit my news intake for a while, but I don't think I'll manage. And maybe with this clusterfuck it is better to stay up to date and see it coming before it hits you in the head.

Same. I avoid the newspaper but still get the highlights from Reddit and here. I've got enough stress in my life that I don't need to further stress myself over things I can do fuck-all about.

Was reading a thing that says this is the strategy - similar to how Putin entrenched himself in Russia. Overwhelm the discourse with fake news (nothing is real), bad news and chaos where ever possible (it's too much to cope with), attacks on anyone with any kind of integrity (they're all the same) to push the population into a kind of exhausted stupor that stops them from pushing back against the take over.

Did the author of article explain what pushing back against the take over means in practice?
