The solution is typing louder.

I haven't seen a red cent.
I read somewhere there is a problem with your stimulus checks.  Because of the way your taxes are filed, the stimulis went to your accounting firms who were supposed to transfer you the money.

It seems a messy way to do things.

I'm pretty sure that only applies to people who used the "give me my refund now in exchange for a big fee" that online tax filing services offer.  Tax refund equivalent of payday loans.

I think you get it the same way you would get your tax refund, if any. I receive my tax refund through direct deposit into my bank account, and got my stimulus check the same way.

You get it direct deposited if that's the way you received your refund last time.  Some people don't get refunds (so the IRS doesn't necessarily have your bank info), don't file, or prefer paper check refunds.  And there are the people I described.

I don't have an accounting firm.  I get a very small amount of money from SSI unemployment once a month in direct deposits.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

my dad had his DD into account he gets his SS. My mom read the original reports that if haven't filed tax return last two years they were mailing checks unless you updated info on irs website. Well she mucked they up and they still mailed check, which she got last Thursday through the soon to be extinct USPS.

Again, I'm just going to say this. It may not have been "your refund last time". Mine was based on my 2018 taxes even though I filed my 2019 taxes in January.

Just saying. If you don't have it yet, check to see if there's something different from 2018.

I'm talking about means of delivery (direct deposit, paper check, or H&R Block can't find you).  Are you talking about that, or the amount of the payment?

My stimulus check went into the account that my 2018 taxes went to, not the account that my 2019 taxes went into. :)

Well I'm still waiting for a paper check. Not alone in that apparently. I think putting Donalds name on it may have delayed it a few days.

I love the totally unnecessary letter I got days later from IRS trumpeting how because of the greatest president ever I had received this check.

Oh no worries - the IRS still sends a letter with his name on it even if you get direct deposit.

That's an interesting glitch, but if you read back, I didn't say which account it would go to.  Just whether you got direct deposit or not.
