I don't dig on horror movies.  Although, if I want to truly experience terror, I might spool up a Lars von Trier flick.

Melnacholia? Though I guess that's better suited to family holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas. :P

Antichrist and Dogville better suit the theme.

Movies that give me a real hard time are the likes of The Girl Next Door (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Girl_Next_Door_(2007_film) - based on a true story). :weep:

And the movie does not go over every torture the real Sylvia Likens had to withstand.  :console:

I know, and I'm thankful for that.

Violence porn.  An unnecessary film.

Josquius

Horror films tend not to scare me. I just find them dull.
What does scare me however is creepy youtube stuff without obvious production behind it and games.  I cannot play scary games at all

Yeah, scary games are not for me, either, esp. if they rely heavily on jump scares.

I kind of wanted to play 'Until Dawn'. But it seems it is going to be PS4 exclusive forever.

My favorite old-fashioned horror movie remains The Changeling.

That's mine too. Wet ball rolling down stairs still freaks me out.

Anime about a guy transported to another world and ended up with an RPG style party that was so over-specialised that it was quite useless.  It is a self-aware parody.

Or something that has nothing to do with Halloween.

No Vampire Hunter D for you, huh?
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

I think I prefer movies about taking porn stars to prom.

My Halloween Movie List is the same as my Christmas Movie List, and it has only one movie on it: The Nightmare before Christmas.

Halloween to me is an annual reminder that I need to avoid going out on 31 October.  Also, I am not really into horror shows, anime or not.

Is it a big deal in HK?
