American taste is weird.  We generally see 'Are You Being Served' as passable at best and Benny Hill as downright embarrassing

I can quote Blackadder better than I can quote The Simpsons.  Surely Blackadder is still loved?

Blackadder's generally acknowledged as one of the best sit-coms.  Plus the ones grumbler mentioned.  I think in those TV polls Only Fools and Horses, Blackadder and Fawlty Towers generally always come top of the list.

Though my favourites would probably include the Alan Partridge shows.
