Well they reckon it is 52-48 in favour of remain now; but that is all within the margins of error.

Yeah keep hugging the Muzzies

Otto will be taking some time off for posting links to hate sites and for posting scenes of death and dismemberment

I don't see a reason to get further off-topic in the Brexit thread so I'll take the Muslim discussions elsewhere--but I'll note:

1. I didn't link to a "hate site", it was a fucking image link from Google image search. The domain name I guess after the fact I looked and it is some sort of weird Swedish hate group, but that exact same image can be found by searching "Bataclan" in Google image search with safe search off from a thousand sources.

2. It was a crime scene of a massacre perpetrated by Muslims on innocent French people, a consequence of allowing too many Muslims to exist in a society. It was not a "scene of death and dismemberment" I shared as some sort of gory porn, but the real life consequences of bad decisions that are born by innocent people, not by the globalists who rule them from ivory towers.

Posting pictures of dead people to score rhetorical points is across the line. Sourcing them from hate sites - by accident or deliberately -  is not a mitigating circumstance.

The youngsters are 80+ percent in favour of remain but "...only half of 18 to 24-year-olds said that they would be certain to vote in a second EU referendum, according to recent polls by Survation. This compares with 84% of those aged 65 and over."  :bleeding:

depressing in many ways 😔

The EU is apparently willing to offer the UK the same deal as Jersey.  Single market for goods, no freedom of movement, but Britain has to follow all rules including social (work time directive) and be part of the customs union. I doubt that's something May could pass in parliament.

No free movement = my red line.

QuoteCorbyn: I was present at wreath-laying but don't think I was involved

Jeremy Corbyn has said he was present but not involved at a wreath-laying ceremony for members of the group that carried out the Munich Olympics massacre, who were killed in Paris in 1992.

The Labour leader, on a campaign trip to Walsall in the West Midlands, was responding to a question from journalists following a front-page report in the Daily Mail that he was at the controversial event in Tunisia in 2014.

Corbyn said "a wreath was indeed laid" for "some of those who were killed in Paris in 1992" and added, in response to a question: "I was present at that wreath-laying, I don't think I was actually involved in it."

He added: "I was there because I wanted to see a fitting memorial to everyone who has died in every terrorist incident everywhere.

"Because we have to end it. You cannot pursue peace by a cycle of violence, the only way you can pursue peace [is] by a cycle of dialogue."

On Saturday, the Daily Mail published pictures of Corbyn holding a wreath at the Palestinian martyr's cemetery in Tunisia, during a visit to that country in 2014, a year before he became the party's leader.

Labour said Corbyn had already made clear he was paying his respects to the victims of a 1985 Israeli airstrike on Palestinian Liberation Organisation offices in Tunis.

There are memorials to the victims of the 1985 bombing and a plaque that commemorates one of the individuals behind the Black September group in different parts of the cemetery.

Black September was the Palestinian terror group that carried out the massacre of 11 Israelis at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Many of the perpetrators are alleged to have been killed subsequently by Israeli agents working for its Mossad secret service.

Amazing how many sources aren't reporting that he laid a wreath for the air strike victims who are buried near the terrorist suspects. They're just reporting him being honest and saying he doesn't think ("Ha! why not deny it? You don't think?") he laid a wreath for the terror suspects despite the picture of him holding a wreath surrounded by brown people.

A bit stupid Corbyn is doing this. His priorities should be squarely on fighting the imminent death of the UK.
But yet again the media shows its right wing credentials.

QuoteJeremy Corbyn has admitted attending a ceremony for the terrorists behind the Munich massacre, but denied laying a wreath himself.

The Labour leader said he was "present" at a memorial event commemorating those responsible for the 1972 attack, despite his office previously insisting he was only at the event in question honouring Palestinians killed in an Israeli air strike.

Mr Corbyn was forced to explain himself after pictures showed him holding a wreath next to a memorial plaque for the perpetrators of the Munich attack.

...

Mr Corbyn's team had previously insisted he had only laid a wreath at another memorial – to pay tribute to the 47 Palestinians killed in an Israeli air strike on a PLO base in Tunisia in 1985.

But images published by the Daily Mail show him holding a wreath in 2014 next to the memorial to the Munich bombers, with the paper claiming the memorial for the victims of the 1985 attack is 15 feet away, in a different part of the Palestinian Martyrs Cemetery in Tunisia.

...

Labour MP Luciana Berger, the parliamentary chair of the Jewish Labour Movement, criticised Mr Corbyn's latest comments.

She said: "Being 'present' is the same as being involved. When I attend a memorial, my presence alone, whether I lay a wreath or not, demonstrates my association and support."

"There can never be a 'fitting memorial' for terrorists. Where is the apology?"

So no, the issue appears to be that when talking about that day, he omitted some key damaging details and then is saying he wasn't actually involved though present...

Well I've never encountered "anti-Zionist" being used in any other way than fig leaf/code for anti-Semite, and I hear Corbyn is an anti-Zionist.

It it is interesting that being anti-Zionist has come to have that meaning, given that the Zionist movement was not particularly well received within the Jewish community prior to the Balfour Declaration.  WWII changed everything of course.

Probably that Tyr doesn't want to admit that the members of Black September who carried out the attack at the 1972 Olympics were, in fact, terrorists.

Well to be a little fair, the Guardian does generally hate Corbyn.
