I always assumed Sunak was tall, being thin and awkward-looking.

Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

Err, no.  2004 was the only election Republicans won the popular vote since 1992.

Gotcha.

And I was incorrect - besides 2004, the last Presidential election the GOP won the popular vote was 1988.  1992 was Clinton.

If someone who has the athletic ability to play soccer at the highest levels meets the definition of awkward, then we do not share the same understanding of that word.  :P

I believe the phrase was "awkward-looking".

And I don't care how athletically-gifted someone may be, you overly-tall motherfuckers look weird. :P

Like a newborn giraffe learning  how to walk on his hinde legs. Dudes rich, so you know, good for him just the same.

I think that is the problem.  Short people have a distorted view of the world  :D

I feel a lot more comfortable in a place like the Netherlands where I can look most people in the eye, than a lot of other places where I just see the tops of heads.

Also, first time I was in portugal as an adult I felt like a giant at 5'10". It was great. Could see over heads for miles. Never felt so short as when I arrived back at the airport in canada
