The footsteps of doom approach.  Our mattress is over 12 years old, and it is time for us to consider replacing the most expensive piece of furniture in our home.

The question is: Simmons or Sealy?  We currently use Simmons and we are quite happy with it.  But people say Sealy is a viable alternative.  What say languish?

IKEA

I use a lot of IKEA furniture.  Most of my wardrobes and bookshelves are IKEA.  My dinner table is also IKEA.  I love IKEA.  I am a huge fan.

But IKEA mattress is no good.

Does this really exist?  Even if it does, I have never seen one in Hong Kong.

Simmons and Sealy are both good, though neither is top-end.  Sealy is a better value IMO, though of course in your case that depends heavily on what their relative prices are in HK.

Not for much longer. :weep:

Yes, they do exist.  I thought they were kind of ridiculous, but Serta had a deal with The Donald to sell Trump-branded mattresses.  But as I went looking for a link to show you, I found out that Serta has cancelled their deal after Trump said all those racist things in his Presidential bid, so if you go to:

All you get is a 404 message (even though the link still shows up here:

Which brand is better than Simmons or Sealy?

I am a bit suspicious of products that contain the names of celebrities or presidential candidates.  I suspect that a significant chunk of money go to the pocket of the celebrity rather than the product.

Surely you have luxury brands in Hong Kong?

The best purchase I have ever made (don't tell my truck, it will get jealous) is a king size Tempurpedic mattress.
