Same here.  My guess would be, CdM put on an Easter bunny suit as part of his job, and somebody here found a video of that?

He put on the suit to help the animal shelter with a fund drive.

Jaron: damn straight.

According to job title and remuneration, yes.  I didn't seek admission to the bar, but so what?

So what?  That's precisely the distinction between being a lawyer or not.

Really?  That's not true in the US or UK.  Who acts as solicitors in Canada, if lawyers include only those called to the bar?

In English Canadian provinces there is no regulatory difference between barristers and solicitors - both must pass the bar to be entitled to use the title of "lawyer".

There are also paralegals and law clerks who may do some types of legal work but they can't use the title of lawyer.

Really?  I know that the UK has a separate more difficult process for becoming a barrister.  But in the US once a lawyer is called to the bar they can be either a barrister or a solicitor.  There may be some outlier States but iirc most States require that a lawyer be called to the bar before practicing as either a barrister or solicitor.  I don't think Americans actually use those terms very often and so that might be the source of your confusion.

I think Libertarians would be fine with Ank doing what he likes with his property.

Lettow isn't Ank's property...

a TRUE Libertarian would say that while Ank owned the forum, Lettow's profile, posts and all intellectual property belonged to him and Ank should have requested permission before editing his name.

A true libertarian would see all posts on this forum as property of the owner as per user agreements.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

A true libertarian would read Lettow's posts and go "what the fuck is this?"

Razgovory

Nah, they might try to blackmail him over the at hummer he got back in 2008, though.  Blackmail is simply an economic interaction between willing market participants. :)

Nobody is that crazy.

Stonewall Jackson probably reads user agreements.  That is how he held off the Union army at First Bull Run.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
