I'm taking a road trip. No offroad this time because I'm taking the hemi. My brother has moved to Montana. NOAA. Legit dental floss tycoon. I think if I post pics it will be in the out and about thread. As long as Mongers doesn't mind.

Edit: Anybody have any requests?

My plan is to hit Glacier NP first and then Yellowstone on the way back.

In this country working at a 7/11 is the opposite of safe.

I was at the McD at Praterstern train station yesterday. Praterstern is a bit of a hub for alcoholics, drug addicts, and low income folks. It's not unsafe (lots of police around), but you're unlikely to strike up a conversation about the merits of Nietzschean philosophy.

Anyways, when McD introduced self-service soda fountains over here, their Praterstern restaurant had to remove them within weeks, because of too many freeloaders and vandals. Yesterday I saw that they now have two shifty looking guys as permanent security there (and police walks in every 15 minutes or so).

Which is weird, because I've never seen or heard of anything bad happening there.

Seen in the subway this morning: very unkempt middle aged guy in dirty jeans and a potbelly significantly larger than mine wearing a tight t-shirt saying in big, bold letters, "Masturbating is not a crime!" with a smaller footnote reading, "This public service announcement is brought to you by PornStar."

School year over. My free time just dried up.

:nelson:

But I can sympathize-- my wife is in NYC for a week with her friends, so I'm single-dadding it for the duration.  My time management skills really sharpen when it's just me dealing with the kids.  And they're actually better disciplined when the wife's not around, come to think of it.

Also, City of Rocks in Idaho should be kinda on the way, and looks pretty cool and low key as well.

You could also drive through Laramie in the middle of the day when I am working!

I think it's weird when chicks wear heels except in certain contexts (i.e. strippers, prostitutes).  Don't a lot of men like their women short? :hmm:

Last Friday I came in to the office right behind one of our chick accountants and had on jeans and high heels.

It makes their bodies look amazing

It makes them look graceless, and even if not graceless, then too tall.

Women generally look better in flats.

Graceless? Outrageous slander!
