What's so weird about that?

Why do you ask, Mr. Hypersensitive?

But seriously people stop moving here.

Well don't worry about me. I don't even have a desire to visit Texas.

Because I'm curious as to how anyone could prefer white trash over just about anyone else, Mr. Blinky Eyes.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Today's been really weird.

It was our last day at work, and I find myself unemployed for the first time ever. I don't think my brain has quite grasped the concept yet. Curiously enough I think the one who took it worse was my boss. You could tell that both him and the CEO were ashamed that this had come to pass.
My now former mates got me a smartphone, which was nice, since I'd probably never get one for myself.
And when all that was over, I got to see and chat for hours with my brother, who's been living in Turkey with his fiancee for a couple years now.

Yeah, definitely a weird day.

He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

Had that happen a couple times.  Definitely sucks, but in both cases I kept myself afloat by thinking of all the annoyances I was leaving behind.

Not everyone is heartless, Seedy.

I mean, everyone at *my* company is, but...
