Texas has one of the best economies in the US, once again you don't know what you are talking about.
psst, wasn't quite being 100% serious.
Yeah guys.  Besides, everyone knows that the worth of a state is established by their coal mines.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Maybe not. Huntsville AL is the most educated city in America, remember?

I thought it was Boulder.  Huntsville and Melbourne are up there, though.

I didn't mean children but young adults who were likely to have young children. People in the Northeast still have kids, but if they can't find a job they may move to Nevada or Utah for work. So the states with growing populations are getting younger while the states with stagnant populations get older.

Most of Texas' growth is new transplants with kids or recent transplants having them.

Again there is this confusion of the growing economy and a strong economy.  Ranked by GDP per capita, Texas is square in the middle of the pack.

By Jos' beliefs, Mississippi, West Virginia, Louisiana and Alabama should be growing like crazy.
They are, just not numerically.

The funny bit about my sisters' tea party moronics is their backstory: when my middle sister's daughter was in elementary school she didn't feel comfortable with reciting the pledge of allegiance. My sister told her she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to, but she should also stand up and be respectful of it. It caused a minor incident with the school where my sister insisted that it was a free country and whether someone wants to pledge allegiance is every person's own business.

My other sister, who complains about people asking for handouts and not busting their asses to make a living has spent 10, 15 years with her family church hopping - when one charity ran out they moved to the next congregation (that's how they ended up with the Mormons, though they seem to have recovered from that). During that time they kept quitting jobs weeks after signing up for them - "Not the right employer", "Manager is an ass", "They just don't like me", "The hours suck" etc. At least they seem to have settled down a bit.

Funnily, the only thing they're rather liberal about is gay rights - my middle sister's husband's brother is gay, and the older sister has a gay son.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

If you're going to not be serious, use a smiley. Your not serious posts are too similar to your serious ones for us to tell. :secret:
Not really.  And not 100% serious != it was an out and out joke. :contract:
Texas certainly does have some of the hallmarks of a developing country, like strongly believing in sky monsters. And guns everywhere.
