Hey derspiess, those milk in bags...what are the bags like? Are they thin and sold in boxes, like shitty wine?  Or are they thick?  I'd think they'd have to be, considering liquid weight of a gallon.

I would think that a liquid subject to freezing wouldn't be such a good idea to be sold in bags.

Around here 3 bags to a gallon, sold in a bigger bag. They are sturdy enough bag. You can drop it on the floor without fear of consequences.

2% is 6.72$/gallon iirc.

Haven't you been to Canada and seen such aberrations?

That's dreadful considering that you don't even get a real container.

Apparently, I didn't recall right at all, not even close.

Minimum price for 4 liters of 2% in bags is 5.98$. Milk sold in Tetrapacks with a plastic opening are not subjected to the price fixing law.

Wonder how that map was made. Would be nice to try and make such an overlay for little projects of my own.

It's part of the google API.

Actually that's close enough in the sense that my statement still stands.

I pay about $2.79 (US) for a US gallon of milk.  The amount of fat in the milk doesn't seem to affect the price but the kids like nonfat.
