What kind of dumbass continues to fight when the other guy pulls a gun?

That being said, based on the article (which you can't really do) cop is in the wrong.  Unless he somehow feared for his life you can't go to the gun to protect yourself from an assault.

"He was about to lose consciousness to people beating him," Camden said.

If we are to just go by the article, it seems he should have feared for his life. Though I agree that we really shouldn't go by the article.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

There's a fine line between salvation and drinking poison in the jungle.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

It's one of the wonderful things about a gun culture - road rage incidents are more likely to result in murders rather than beatings.

To bad rage-dad didn't have *his* gun. The two of them could have plugged a couple of bystanders while they were at it.  ;)

Big difference from your scenario, Canuckiweenie;  the beating victim was a cop.  One shot, one kill.

Yet another reason that cops are despicable.

A dozen one-hit wonders? At least Thorogood had "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" and "Bad to the Bone".
I Drink Alone was way better.

Wrong.

then he's all set for the stampede :P

Although what dumbass starting beating on a cop after he announces he's a cop?

The kind of dumbass who doesn't believe that some random biker who just ran over his daughter is really a cop just because he says so to escape a beating?

One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer is a wonderful song. Bad to the Bone I can't take seriously- I am prepared to buy the white singer as an impoverished failure who self-destructively avoids his obligation, but any claims of "badness" are ludicrous in song unless professed by properly licensed black people.
It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'

I'm assuming rage-dad pulls his piece first, given that the other dude is lying injured on the pavement having crashed his bike.

well now he knows better...or he did for those few hours he was alive.

Not really. Getting shot isn't verification that someone is a cop.

It increases the likelihood.  A random person who shoots you is more likely to be a cop compared to a random person who doesn't shoot you. :smarty:

This is why, despite your credentials (albeit lack of a higher degree), you're still a marginal moron.

No, being despicable is shooting both assailants while emptying the entire magazine, whacking passersby.

That's just an extreme version.

I don't know - considering that he's more like the type of person who would decide whether or not the cop gets charged with a crime.
