Indian guy on Community.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Looking it up, it premiered 2-3 weeks before I left. No wonder I haven't seen it.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Found a cool history of Irish whiskey.

Has anyone else noticed...it tends to be really grim countries that invent hard liquor whilst nicer places tend to be happy enough with beers and wines.

Tequila, cachaça and ouzo disprove your assertion.

Mexico, Brazil and Greece are pretty terrible places, and always have been.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

The whiskey shelf once reserved for Jameson alone will now be crowded with new entrants like Paddy's, Michael Collins, Redbreast and a host of other unfamiliar but inviting bottles. Even $17-a-glass Midleton might be stocked there.

I've noticed that myself. Used to be basically just Jameson and Bushmill's. Now there's all kinds of stuff around. I got a bottle of Redbreast a couple weeks ago but I've yet to try it.

After trying Jameson, I'm dumbfounded as to how Irish could drink so much alcohol.  They must've lived through truly tough times.

I guess Alberta must be OSSUM since there isn't any Albertan hard liquor of any note.

Technology has made the manufacture of very good vodka much easier than it used to be. Now, we've got craft vodka makers and micro-distilleries popping up. (HangarOne, Vodka14, MiddleWest.) There is a tasting room for vodkas made of different things I visited in Lodi a while ago. Interesting stuff.

Along with that, I think we'll see cheaper vodkas that are not awful anymore---well, as long as they stop packaging in plastic bottles.  :P The whole range is basically getting better overall.

I like how the one mom with her daughter leaves the kid behind and runs.
