There are some really stupid people in the world.

Last week I advertise for sale a TV unit. 10 francs. A guy is interested and comes to get it...
"Where's the TV?"
"....you mean the TV unit? Its there."
"Ooohhhhh. I thought you were selling a TV."
*facepalm*

I'm wanting my flat empty so I list the TV unit for free if someone can come pick it up.
Another guy messages me. He is interested. Can he come Monday at 6? Yes he can.
To be sure I ask: "Sorry for the stupid question but....You know that the TV set is not included right? Its just the unit?"
"Yes, I'm sure"
My gf is added to the conversation as she's the one in my flat, she adds "So when you come to pick up the TV furniture message me"
"Yes yes"
He gets there.
And guess what.
He thinks its a fucking TV for free.

A TV unit is a cabinet that has a TV on top (or within).

Its not.  A TV unit is something the TV is placed within.  A TV stand is something the TV sits on top of.  In the link there are examples of both Stands and Units.

I listed a Pool table for 200$ First phone call was within 15mins. Dude shows up 30mins later, crawls under table & laments the fact that the pool table doesn't have a slate top.

Entertainment center is what we call the "TV unit" around these parts.  And nobody uses them anymore.  Just TV stand or wall mount.
