Well, that's interesting to know where they're coming from, but they should know that different art forms don't translate well into each other, and what's suitable for a quilt might not be suitable for a flag.

I agree with you, I also love California's flag and think Grey was too critical of it, although I could do without the "CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC" text on it.

The California flag sounds great in theory but the execution is poor.
