Should have picked a straight ticket like Syt with Pittsburgh.

FUCK.  I missed most of it because I thought today was Saturday.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Anyway, my middle kid had a hockey practice around the same time as kick off.  Being a conscientious assistant coach I went, with my kid.  We only had 10 of 18 attend, a worse rate than we do for 6:30 am practices.  But all 5 coaches were there.

9/10 for the Half time show. No idea what business the two rapping men had on stage though.

Pop songs all need Rap break downs nowadays.

I liked this half time show. Much better than Maroon 5. Best of the 2010+ remains 2015's Katy Perry.

"Nowadays" ... :D 'twas already a staple of dance pop over a quarter century ago. ;)

Yeah you cannot be THAT young, GF.

Through the first half of the 90s at least, EVERY popsong was

1. SHITTY TECHNO BEATS
2. MELODIC PART
3. SHITTY TECHNO BEATS
4. TOUGH RAP
5. SHITTY TECHNO BEATS

Yes.

25 years is a good "nowadays" time frame. ;)

You should be more aware to the intricacies of how the Kings of Sports do things.

Shut up.

Music is a long time. Almost everything I listened to was first publish before 1990. Anything newer is for the kids.

Most friends were listening to Mr Vain and the likes in '93, and there I was listening to Radiohead, Type 0 Negative, Sepultura, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, and Faith No More.
