Just saw a car with New Jersey plates here in Germany.

Stay out of his way.  And don't expect him to let you merge even if his life depended on it.

Some GIs ship their rides overseas. Possibly they keep their US plates?

At least up till the late 90s they got US Army plates.

Maybe. It was a European made car though, but I couldn't see whether it was US or EU spec (notable difference is the front indicators).

US plates in Germany used to look like this, but these days they just have ordinary German plates for security reasons.

Was stolen in Jersey & delivered in Russia, where apparently they don't bother changing the plates and the new owner is touring across Germany?

God dammit.
So it's now the law in most civilized countries that calorie information be displayed on food packets.
So you get your big bag of whatever. You look at the calorie info "240 calories per 100g" - Ahhh.... Ok..... I guess.... That's... Just once....
....
Wait....
100g? That sound awfully small....
It must say the size of this packet somewhere....
Oh there- 330g.

So how the hell does that 100g reading help the casual member of the public?

Even casual members of the public know you got to multiply the number of calories per serving by the number of servings in the package.
