I have to go back to work in 1 week.

I'm conflicted about it. On one side, I'm over being at home & on vacation. On the other side, It's pretty fun to be on vacation most of summer, I don't want it to end.

For reference, I haven't worked since June 21st.

I haven't worked since 2003.  Well at least worked and gotten paid for it.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Do you not travel much for vacation GF?

Not really, not nowadays. I have 2 small child, one week in Cuba has no appeal to me.

I went to the Zoo, to the cabins of family members but no extended stay anywhere, that's true.

I'm envious. I've had a week or two from hell at work, and I have to work the whole long weekend. Last week, I put in 70 hours.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

For some reason I don't think its quite viable... :hmm:
