That's why we saw him revert back to his attack dog ugly side near the end of the debate. The façade slipped away.

Poilièvre kept saying for years that Canada is broken.
I agree with him, but it predates Justin Trudeau.

His solution: reverse the ban on plastic straw and forks.

I'll never understand this obsession.  I really like my wooden forks. Much better than having a piece of cheap plastic break in my mouth.

Wood forks are ok. Paper straws suck... and not in the way that straws should :D

I'm a straw hater. Plastic or paper, I'm not using it.

"But I didn't vote for him"; they cried.

That plastic wrap ban removal doesn't make sense to me.  A lot of my food is still wrapped in plastic     when did it become banned?

Makes sense to reduce plastic sure but going to banning extremes is also unnecessary.  Both wood forks and straws are fine with me btw.

It's in court

There are many ways to reduce single use plastic consumption for the food industry, but it's obviously hurtful for some chemical industries while beneficial to others.
The plastic bag replacement was seen as a calamity at first.  Now, no grocery store would want to go back to that.

I just listened to PP's campaign stop in Surrey British Columbia. He was asked a question by a friendly media person about whether he would stop antisemitism at universities and stop funding universities that were antisemitic.  I might as well have been listening to Trump.  He said that not one dime of federal money would go to universities who allowed antisemitism.

If I'm reading that correctly the regulation only addresses ready to serve food and not things like raw meat, which seems reasonable.  Maybe we'll end up bringing Tupperware to get take out food or paying a fee for a compostable container one day.  I was wondering how they would deal with the later.
