Trump dismisses the whole Poland incident as expected.

A couple of days (so about 3 global scandals), ago, there was a great example of how the media sane-washes and enables Trump. He was on his way to his plane or helicopter or something after the latest round of Russian terror bombing when a journo yelled at him through the noise: are you ready to start the next round of sanctions against Russia?

He replied, in passing: "yep!"

That "yep" made the news circle around the world, very respectable sources saying "president Trump says he is ready to impose new sanctions"

No FFS he isn't. You can't take what he says at face value even when he actually says it. In this case all he did was the quickest reaction-sound to get him out of the situation.
