Doesn't matter as according to JD Vance that officer has absolute immunity. A year ago everybody thought it was crazy that SCOTUS defined that for a president. But now apparently they extend it to the president's goons as well.

If Vance had actually earned that law degree, he would have known that the term is "qualified immunity." That applies only to civil suits, however. No one bar the king is immune to criminal charges.

It seems confirmed now that the ICE officer that shot the woman was involved in another incident half a year ago when he was dragged by a car.  I wonder if that plays in his favor, or against him?  One can make an argument that his prior traumatic experience might've contributed to him acting in an unreasonable, and thus not legally defensible, manner.

It would probably help him exculpate himself in a criminal prosecution (which seems unlikely to ever happen). It does raise serious questions why his superiors and ICE leadership unleashed an armed traumatized agent onto American streets.

In the final part of the video the car is seen veering down the road. The ICE agent swears.

That "swears" they cut from the video is where he or one of his colleagues says "fucking bitch" after the shooting.
