Sheriffs Refuse to Enforce Laws on Gun Control

I'm pretty sure that any law enforcement officer that takes a bribe isn't going to enforce the laws against bribery against themselves, be that municipal, county, state, or the Feds.

I can see that one now.  Cop comes into the squad room wearing his own handcuffs.  The desk sergeant is like, "WTF", and the guy says, "Had to arrest myself, Sarge.  I took a bribe!".
