It was Jack Black in that movie, not him.

The first movie I saw him in was Along Came Polly.  In that movie he seemed like a poor man's Jack Black.  But obviously once I saw him in a few other films I changed my mind.

I'm actually not kidding.  I guess if it's Hoffman, it doesn't matter too much in the grand scheme, but if my dad bought $50,000 worth of drugs and then proceeded to die before getting through the first bag, I'd be really pissed.  Wouldn't you?  I mean, at least if he went through $50,000 worth of drugs, that's his heroin.  If he dies, it's mine, and heroin, like any other good, has value, except since it's illegal, the government's agents sell it for their own profit.  I mean just destroy it.

I WAS SYMPATHIZING WITH HIS HEIRS.  Hoffman blew thousands of dollars that they'll never see, and he didn't even get to use.  It's unfair.

Really, you get a little too involved, Spellus.  Let it go, there are tragedies large and small in life.  They are not life.  If we can't laugh with black humor at the malevolence of it all then we might just as well curl up.
