The Minsky Moment

Not so crisply played but great baseball
KC earned that win

Dammit I can't stop beaming.  I haven't been so sports happy since the Jets return in 2011.

Nice.  All it took was me to find a new team. :face:

I am happy for you.  :)

Just keep in mind that your joy when the Thrashers moved is matched each and every day by the sadness of Atlanta residents separated from their beloved franchise.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

There's a fine line between salvation and drinking poison in the jungle.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

The Flames left 30+ years ago - time to let it go.

I'm gonna let you in on a secret.  After the injustice of 1985 (let's face it, the Royals should have an asterisk next to that one) I put a curse on the Royals that they would never win a playoff game again.  But since I knew how much this game meant to you, I lifted that curse around the 8th inning.

Your tears - they are delicious.

Just when I decided I wanted the Pirates to win, Volquez gives up a grand salami. All the air is now sacked out of that stadium and it doesn't feel like a playoff game any longer.

Yeah, that's all breaking my heart and stuff.

Oh well, that was a bit one sided.

Guess I'll be rooting for the O's for the rest of the play offs.

Holy crap there's a game starting in half an hour.  These damned DLS games sneak up on me.
