Anywho, the Dodgers went ahead and announced before last night's game that they were going to start Kershaw today on short rest.  Because his last three postseason appearances vs. the Cards have to be flukes, right?? :menace:

I love Donnie Baseball.  His main guy falls down and Donnie's response is to show his total, unequivocal confidence.
That said, Haren closed the season pretty strong  . . .

I was starting to worry I'd have to eat my words until the 7th inning and I realized it was the 7th inning-- when the Cards do their damage :D

As much as anything I'm glad I don't have to watch those fake-ass Dodgers fans anymore this postseason.

As much as I'd love to see the Cardinals get another shot to rip the guts out of Nationals fans in the NLCS, I guess I'd be happy enough watching the Giants do it.  Speaking of which, bases loaded walk LOL

I still just cannot believe the Orioles are going to be playing for the American League Championship again.  In some of those dark days of 1998 - 2011 where I figured my last memories of the Orioles playing in this thing would be Armando Benitez and Jeffrey Maier.

Speaking of the dark days damn the attendance numbers for this year compared to 1997 were abysmal.  I wonder if they will ever recover.
