I've done this a lot and can recognize difference between when I fuck up and bad luck. Loss at Breda was shit luck. I could have taken both if that had gone the other way.

Well that is sort of weird.  One of the main reasons the Spanish were able to fight the 80 years war relatively unmolested was because the French were busy ripping each other apart.
