I have no problem supporting some of these ppl if it means that I also support the people that really need the help and actually can't get a job due even though

How come Kenyans and Ethiopians are relatively more well adjusted? Do Swedes only have structural racism against Somalis?

Pretty concerning what's now going on with the Iraqi govt and the Sunnis and Awakening Councils. I had thought that many of the Sunni Council members had already been brought into the military and police. But this seems very messy, very dangerous, though perhaps some of it was warranted? And if it goes too far it would appear to be a stab in the back by the Iraqi govt and US, towards some of the leaders and people (Sunnis) who were instrumental in quelling violence, and turning on AQ in Iraq.

Agreed. This was my first reaction aswell.

The problem is that the national and sectarian have merged.  Members of the police across the South and Baghdad are, more often than not, members of Shia party militias while the senior leadership of both police and, to my understanding, the army are similarly linked.  This has been developing for some time and is a very serious problem.

Kidding aside Slargos, you do have a good point - there are some groups who appear to be culturally predisposed to if you like live by ripping off the state or other people, and this is not necessarily an issue that has anything to do with race or racism.

But his point is somewhat different. He's saying (if I understand correctly) that he isn't fussed by a degree of cheating in delivery of needed social services. That too is a valid point - I long ago came to the conclusion that a degree of cheating is more or less inevitable if one has any form of socialist style services, and is just a cost of the same.
