Out of the 44 US presidents, 4 have been assassinated, 2 have been injured in assassination attempts and there have been at least 20 attempts to kill sitting or former US presidents. This is not an issue of the president not being replaceable, it is a matter of Workplace Health and Safety. No other job in the world has a 9% death rate by murder.

I'm sure the answer is obvious, but who beside Reagan was seriously injured in an assassination attempt? I'm coming up blank.
