Is that some weird free-to-play thing? I've never had a problem getting to max level way before completing the class story (because I do all the side quests). Also yeah, you want to play those expansion pack storylines after you complete your main story.

Well, the in-game text gave me a misson "complete your class story" and when you click on it, it says you don't advance until you complete your class story.  So I did.  But then, I did not advance in level either.  So I went back to the internet, and I was told that it's linked to the expansions you have, so you need to subscribe one month to get it.

So I did subscribe for one month, and now I am leveling normally.

I'd say it's either a combination of both or simply that I did not subscribe.  If the later, I would have appreciated the game telling me this.  Oh well. :)

The expansion, Onslaught, I think, is much better scripted than the first part is not the same old Jedi vs Sith who wants to take over the galaxy, it has a a little twist in it.

That being said, that story kinda contradicts part of the previous story. Some things are just illogicals.  Yes, even for space wizards with laser swords :P

Also, while I appreciate that it's more thightly written than the 1st part, where as there was always the syndrome of "the world is close to be doomed but let's take a walk in the park and rescue that cat in the tree", this one goes overboard on the other site and sometimes constricts you way too much into the story and does not leave you any choice to progress on side quests, or visit the Citadel ;) Republic fleet to get some mods, training, hard to get stuff, etc.  It gets annoying, from time to time.

In the run up tot he 10th anniversary, the old trailers have been remastered in 4K.

As usual the trailers look infinitely cooler than the actual gameplay

Trailer for the new expansion. I have no intention of getting back into this, but a 6 minute cinematic trailer? Hell yeah!

Oddly, the 3D graphics remind me a lot of Jedi: Fallen Order. Wonder if they used the same engine for this. :hmm:

Not him again!  Didn't I kill him like 3 or 4 times already? :P

Might keep playing it one day, but not now.  My Thyrion is trying to survive the onslaught of Warhammer II.  :P

The changes in this expansion are really being panned on SWTOR Reddit...
