I'm amazed that people are shocked about James Gunn's humor, considering he spent his early career working for Troma and co-writing some of their scripts, including for Tromeo and Juliet which included incest, lesbian sex, and a bunch of other stuff. Oh, and he did the PG Porn webseries. It's kind of a similar transformation IMHO as Peter Jackson (Meet the Feebles, Braindead, Bad Taste) or Sam Raimi (Evil Dead).

I've no idea what happened with Gunn but sad he's of GoG3.
2 was a bit of a drag vs. 1 but had its moments. 1 was awesome.

The Chosen Ones. Young man's job is to romance girls and get them into forced prostitution. Remorse haunts him after his first "kill", but can he really save her? Totally OK. I've been watching a bunch of contemporary Latin American movies recently and they've mostly been in roughly the same style (a good thing) and those have all had good endings.
