Searching in google search results

A weird little challenge I've somehow set myself.

Say I want to search for a town called Springfield.
I type this into google and pow, up pops a bunch of Springfields. Some lists of Springfields, a certain fictional Springfield, people called Springfield, and so on.

But I want a particular Springfield. Springfield, Essex.
Of course, the normal thing to do when using google is simply to refine what you're searching for to spell out which one you want.

...but thats not what I'm investigating here. I want to know how Springfield, Essex would compare to all the others. Where does something mentioning this town rank in a typical user (of course everyone sees different search results depending on different factors) making a blanket search for all Springfields.

Searching around about how to do this I come to lots of outdated stuff from when google used pages which seems it did used to be possible... But I don't know how to check such a thing with current technology.

Anyone ever tried such a thing before and have any idea how it'd be done?
I'm trying to get myself towards a solid "For me at least, this is 10,000th on the list".
