I’ve seen it before Jocab.

Famous in Canada?

And gambling's for fools
But that's the way I like it

I don't think I"ve ever seen any photograph before. Thanks for sharing, Jacob.  :)

Photo and obituary have made it to this week's Economist, though I confess to not having seen the photo before either.

I had never seen that photo.

No?

It's one of those iconic black and white photos that shows up all over the place like portraits of Audrey Hepburn or displaced Americans during the dustbowl.

And it used to be in every Italian restaurant here in the 90's. Along with Eros Ramazzotti. Maybe that's why it seems so famous to us? :P

Suddenly this song makes sense to me. I think it might be about this photograph.

I hadn't seen it before I say the Economist's obit but my (Spanish) wife said it was super-famous and was amazed I hadn't seen it.

I had seen it before, used as an example of our beastly harassment of the women. In one of my Feminist classes in College I think.

I tried very hard but my game was sadly lacking.

I remember asking the girl in front of me out and she replied she was a fundamentalist Christian and would not date anybody...because she was saving herself for something or other. Not the response I expected in a Feminist class. I guess she wasn't paying attention.
