It may surprise some of you to learn I frequent a Winnipeg Jets forum.

It is surprising to learn there is a Jets forum. :P

Jets crushed the Canucks last night: 5-1. :P

Wait, people still play hockey?

Not in Vancouver apparently. :P

I used to frequent an Atlanta Thrashers forum.

:console:

We're taking good care of the former Thrashers.

Was it hfboards?

Used to post in several other forums, but nowadays it's just the Spanish OT over at Paradox, and Languish.

Ditto, although I do some forays into the regular Paradox OT as well.

Reddit. A whole hell of a lot of Reddit. Also the CK2 and Stellaris boards once in a while, and, of course Facebook.

Did the Thrashers really have a forum? If so, maybe it was just players and their family posting back and forth about wanting to get traded to a place where they might be recognized?  :P

We have enough problems supporting the teams that play real sports.

Like I said, HFBoards.com.  Probably the busiest hockey-related message board around.

Back in 2011, when the sale to Winnipeg was announced, there were legitimate Thrashers fans who were very sad at the sale of the team.  I recall they'd locked the board to new posters to prevent Winnipeg fans from flooding the Thrashers forum (which eventually got switched over to being a Jets forum).

To this day there is still one Thrashers fan who stuck around and became a Jets fan.

And an awful lot of hockey players are plenty happy to be paid millions of dollars, live in a warm weather city, and NOT be recognized when they walk the street. <_<

I post my fan art on Tumblr and on the Reddit fan site.

That allows user interaction?
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.
