I doubt that's what he meant. though.  I have no idea what he does mean, either, since Jewish voters have traditionally been mostly Democratic, and as best as I can tell, that's been true ever since there was first a Democratic Party.

Eddie is a good example of how anti Semitic tropes have gone mainstream.  But Eddie amplified the idiocy and drew upon anti Papist tropes as well.

@DPS What is wrong with it is the underlying white nationalist trope that Jewish Americans' first loyalty is not to the US which makes Jews less trustworthy.

I'm guessing that this whole Greenland thing was started due to laziness. Trump didn't want to got to Denmark, now he doesn't have to.

I think the Greenland thing is so he can name a US territory after himself.  He keeps saying that Greenland is strategic, which is true.  The problem though is that the US already has bases that meet our strategic needs.  The rest of Greenland is a wasteland with poverty stricken Inuit.

Maybe I misunderstand how the Kingdom of Denmark functions but I am pretty sure we are past the age where countries can just sell away their colonial minions to other great powers. Pretty sure some kind of referendum on that kind of sale would have pass in both Denmark and Greenland for that to work. Or maybe just Greenland, again I am not some kind of expert on Denmark's constitution.

Denmark should have offered to buy Puerto Rico instead. Trump might actually consider it.
