I think Bill Clinton was the first Democratic presidential candidate I voted for.  He had ideas, and a track record.  Plus, he was affable and wasn't an ideologue.  When necessary, he compromised to get things done.  I very much doubt we will ever see the prosperity we saw in his two terms.  Some of you may remember when completely paying off the US national debt was within sight.

Hillary never seemed the compromising type.

I think that's fair, at least as far as general perceptions are concerned.

The Georges seemed like happy funtime people?

Compared to Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry?  Well, yeah.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Trying to tarnish all "libertarians" because of an editorial someone connected with Ron Paul wrote 40 years ago is the kind of thing I meant, thanks Raz.

Trying to out-Raz Raz there?

What editorial did they connect to Ron Paul from the 1970's?

Trump canceled the military parade due to cost.  Poor fella-- maybe next year.

Okay, that was good and funny - refuting bullshit with facts.

Sadly, Fox listeners aren't interested in such things as facts.

Goddamn it, we had similar numbers in 2016.
