Most of the ammo shortage is range ammo (self defense and hunting ammo is still pretty easy to find).  People are hoarding and ammo factories had already been full capacity-- very similar to the toilet paper shortage we had.

Huh. I had no idea one used different ammo at the range versus self defense or hunting.

Presume it makes sense to have a cheaper variety of ammo to use at ranges, since people are going to use lots of it there.

Apparently the right wing AfD in German parliament sent an official request to the government (as is their right), inquiring how many people in Germany earn less than the median income.

The government dutifully replied that 50% earned less than the median income, and 50% earned more (plus number of people).

Heh I have to consciously think of the difference between median, mean and mode. But then, I'm not officially asking for information from government. 😄
