What is this thing you call non-Californian color bias Captain Kirk?

i'm guessing compensating for gloomy uk weather as compared to sunny California weather

Yeah I'm not sure it's a real thing, but the accusation levelled at GoPro is their cameras are biased towards beautifully blue sunny Californian skies and so low-light performance isn't so important a consideration.

Whereas Sony being at least designed in Japan have a set of potential in-built biases that are more suited to the somewhat similar UK weather and latitude.

edit:

Of course our Katmai will know the truth about this, Tyr PM him perhaps?

No doubt he does all of his pro work with the raw camera output (or whatever it's named)

Thanks. Good point on california.

It's amazing how Ignorant many people are of the way the world works.
Post by the council about an empty building and trouble with vandals.....
The replies are replete with "give it to weatherspoons", "open a pizza express!" and the like. As if we live in some video game like drag and drop centrally planned economy.
There should be classes about this at school.

The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Didn't you spend a chunk of your early 20's trying to pass for Indian? :D

Trying? More like I acquiesced to what was put on me.
